VDD is included with JPR requirements, therefore PIs might have their own template which will be included as an appendix to the ROI VDD template.

The VDD includes at least the following information:

  • List of files comprising the installation package
  • Installation instructions for all targeted platforms (HRF PCs, SSC, iPad)
  • Any data that needs to be modified prior to installation (adaptation data)
  • Development environment (i.e. what operating system and tools were used to develop and test the software)
  • List any known problems with the software
  • Expected data transfer sizes
  • Description of folder structure
