Payload Display Review Team (PDRT) and
Integrated Display and Graphics Standards (IDAGS)
The software displays must meet specific standards set by NASA. The displays are reviewed through the PDRT/IDAGS process. Required for all flight software with a user interface, regardless of platform. General Notes for PDRT/IDAGS review:
-
For iPad version change with provisioning profile:
- If there are no changes to display with the provisioning profile update, then it will require just an email to PDRT/IDAGS to explain there is a new version but no changes to displays.
- However, if the version number is displayed on any screens, will be an out of board processing for that change.
- If the software is unable to meet the standards, waiver deviation forms are required. These are sometimes necessary if changing a display to match the standards violates the science of the study.
