Certificate of Compliance (CoC)

The CoC is a statement from the PI that the software fulfills the requirements for the experiment.

A CoC is needed for all file deliveries. For iPads, the element cover letter is only needed for the .ipa file. Other files types just need the CoC with developer and PI signature.

On NASA or institution's letterhead or an email from element with element signature.

Test Report/Test Plan Results

 

 

 

This identifies the development process that was followed. This should be representative of the certification test procedure used to verify science, functional and performance requirements as part of the NPR process. This does not have to be as exhaustive as the certification/verification testing done per the NPR.

Virus/malware scan report

 

 

 

Use available desktop virus scanning software:

  1. Update the virus definition file (use Antivirus update capability).
  2. Select the files that need to be scanned.
  3. Scan the files to be delivered.
  4. Verify no viruses or malware are found.

Checksum

 

 

 

From Windows Command Prompt, type:
"certutil -hashfile <filename> md5"

From Linux Terminal, type:
"md5sum <filename>"
