In all phases of preflight, flight, and post flight activities, the TSC has interfaces with a number of external groups and agencies. The following diagram depicts the data flow for utilization on board the ISS and STS missions.

STS Air-to-Ground (A/G) audio is routed through the MCC-H/ Space Station Control Center (SSCC). ISS Space-to-Ground (S/G) audio is routed through the POIC to the MCC-H.
TSC related Commands and File uplinks to TSC responsible ISS payloads are routed through the POIC to the Space Station Control Center (SSCC)/MCC-H to the ISS. Hazardous Command and source and destination validation will be performed in the POIC and the SSCC/MCC-H.
ISS Payload data are sent through the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS) and received by the Payload Data Services System (PDSS) at the Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC). Payload, Health and Status and related Ancillary data are routed to the POIC, TSCs, the MSFC United States Operations Center (USOC), and the International Partner (IP) gateways at MSFC.
The ISS and STS on-orbit A/G video data are processed by JSC Television (TV) and distributed to the POIC, JSC TSC, applicable remote sites and the IP gateways at JSC.
JSC Internal
Data, voice and video interfaces are provided between the TSC and other JSC facilities for hardware verification, crew training, and simulation activities. These facilities include but are not limited to, JSC Space Station Training Facility (SSTF)/Payload Training Capability (PTC), Space Station Mock-up Training Facility (SSMTF)/High Fidelity Mockup (HFM) and the SSCC/MCC-H. STS missions have their own assigned facilities.
Remote Users
Connectivity to remote user facilities allows investigators to perform Telescience activities on their investigations without having to travel to the JSC TSC. A controlled access gateway to the Internet will be provided for distributing TSC responsible data to its remote users. Electronic mail and planning system interfaces will also be provided between the TSC and its remote users.
International Interfaces
Interfaces with the TSC responsible international remote users will be provided via commercial Internet or NASA dedicated networks as available. Interfaces with other partner control centers will be provided when experiment hardware is being operated and/or accommodated in their segments.
